Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was on Wednesday night impressed by the talent of youngster Ethan Nwaneri who made his Champions League debut.
Speaking after the 2-1 win over Girona, Arteta revealed how impressed by his composure on the ball and how aggressive he becomes when he gets the ball.
He was speaking after the 17-year-old England forward netted the second and most important goal of the clash sending Arsenal through the Champions League.

“Making his debut as a Champions League starter and scoring the goal that he scored, especially in a very important moment.” said Arteta
“His influence, his composure on the ball and how aggressive he is when he gets it… I’m impressed”. He continued
The news follows the club’s links to Ollie Watkins after the Gunners submitted a £60m bid for the England striker which was immediately rejected by Aston Villa.
Aston Villa questioned the timing of the bid especially when they are in the Champions League and consider Watkins a very important player.
