The country through the Ministry of Health has confirmed an MPox case in Nairobi bringing the total number of confirmed cases to three.
The new case is of a 30-year-old female who had recently traveled to Uganda but as confirmed she in a stable condition in an isolation unit.
“The Ministry reports a third confirmed Mpox case in Nairobi, involving a 30-year-old female who recently traveled to Uganda. She is in stable condition in an isolation unit.
This case brings the total to three in Kenya, with previous cases in Taita Taveta and Busia. Active surveillance continues to control the spread of the disease.” said MOH
