Nyali MP Mohammed Ali has congratulated Mombasa-based Chef Maliha Mohamed for breaking the Guinness World Record.
Maliha made history last week for recording the longest home kitchen cooking marathon solidifying her place in culinary.
Taking on social media, the MP noted that her win made both Mombasa and Kenya proud as he congratulated her victory.

In 2019, the Chef had set the longest time in the kitchen at 75 straight hours, a record that was broken by Nigerian Chef Hilda Baci.
The mother of two begun her journey at Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) where she cooked 100 receipts for 36 hours straight.
In July last year, she made a second trial that last 54 hours for 200 receipts before it was supervised by Guinness World Record officials.
Her record for 75 hours was made possible at Kenya Bay Beach Resort where she prepared 400 receipts including local Swahili delicacies.
