Monica Kimani’s father to visit Jowie in prison

Bishop Paul Ngarama, the father of slain businesswoman Monica Kimani has revealed plans to visit Joseph Kimani Irungu alias Jowie in prison.

According to Mr. Ngarama, the reason behind the visit is to forge a path of forgiveness and reconciliation on his part.

Speaking during an interview with Kenya Diaspora Media in Washington, USA, Bishop Ngarama called on Jowie to seek forgiveness on the matter so as to bury the hatchet on the matter.

“I want to appeal to Jowie to come up, he knows he needs forgiveness for me. I am ready to forgive him. If one day I will go to Kenya, I can visit him in prison,” he said

“I can say my son, let’s forget the past and focus on the future because things happen and we know God has a purpose for all of us.” he continued

Ngarama has previously revealed the emotional turmoil his family suffered after the 2018 incident that was being shared on all platforms.

But in order to break all three families together including that of co-accused Jacque Maribe’s family then there is need for reconciliation even though his healing journey began when Lady Justice Grace Nzioka found Jowie guilty of murder.

“It’s important to bring the three families together and to seek for forgiveness despite what happened because one day Jowie might come out from jail even though he was sentenced to death.

We can talk together; to say let this issue rest because we don’t know about the matter. We need healing the most.” he said
