Former CS and economic advisor Moses Kuria has condemned the refusal by Embu residents to hear the condolence message from President William Ruto.
Taking on social media, the controversial advisor noted that its in his culture that condolence messages are never rejected and should be read for the comfort of the bereaved family.
He continued by calling out Senator Leny Kivuti against ‘ungodly acts’ saying that he does not have to like the President in order to accept it.

“In Our Culture we NEVER refuse condolences even from our worst enemies. Messages are read publicly for the comfort of the bereaved family. It’s the reason prayers are held in public including prayers for the family (Otherwise the clergy would retreat with the family and pray in privacy.
I expect Sen Leny Kivuti to disassociate with this ungodly act. You do not have to like the President but it his RIGHT to condole with the family.” said Moses Kuria.
Kuria was speaking after former Speaker Justine Muturi was denied audience to read the message of condolence from President William Ruto.
Mourners present booed the former Speaker who accepted their plight before issuing a normal speech at the same function.
