Manyatta MP Gitonga Mukunji and West Mugirango MP Stephen Mugaka accused the President of sidelining Gusii region following his union with Raila Odinga.
Speaking on Friday, the leaders noted that the Head of State has failed to keep his promise of uniting all regions when forming an inclusive government.
“This is the point to consider having the Gusii community appointed. We are pleading; let’s help each other so that Kenya can forge forward. Kisiis are Kenyans too, and our work is very evident,” said Mogaka
On his part Makunji noted that it was time for some tribes to have their leader and push to form the next government.
“We should be planning for the future; we can have someone like Matiang’i together with Mogaka at the top and push them forward,” he said
This is not the first time that the former Interior CS has been mentioned in plans to unseat President William Ruto come 2027.
