Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni has on Tuesday accused MP Bbau Owino of interfering with the country’s politics.
Speaking during the endorsing ceremony of Raila Odinga’s African Union Commission (AUC) chairperson bid, Museveni revealed that the Embakasi MP was working with anti government activists.
He continued by saying that the information was from daily intelligence briefings that he receives and that he was speaking so as to report him.

“There are some individuals in Raila’s group who I don’t think know what they are doing. I am a consumer of intelligence services so I always see intelligence service reports.
There is a character called Babu. I always see Babu dealing with anti-NRM groups. I have never accused him but now I am accusing him.” he said
According to Museveni, Africa is in need of Pan-Africanism and Patriotism in order to strive. Other Head of State present was Samia Suluhu of Tanzania and Silva Kiir of South Sudan.
