In the just announced Cabinet reshuffles and nominations, President William Ruto has nominated former CS and Governors Mutahi Kagwe, William Kabogo and Lee Kinyanjui.
Through a statement by Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, President William Ruto has nominated former Health CS Mutahi Kagwe as the CS for Agriculture.
Kagwe who gained popularity during former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s tenure takes over from Dr. Andrew Karanja who has appointed as Kenya’s Ambassador to Brazil.

Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has been nominated as the Information, Communication, and the Digital Economy CS taking over from Dr. Margaret Nyambura who has been appointed the new Kenya’s High Commissioner to Ghana.
Also on the list is former Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui who has been nominated as the new Investment, Trade, and Industry CS taking over from Salim Mvurya who has been moved to the Sports Ministry.
