NACADA Kenya has on Wednesday night conducted a surprise raid at Pulse Lounge where they uncovered illegal shisha operations.
“Last night, our Enforcement team conducted a surprise raid at the popular Pulse Lounge, along Lang’ata Road in Nairobi County uncovering illegal shisha operations that have left the community in shock.” they said

During the operation, two people were arrested, 16 shisha bongs, 106 cartons of assorted shisha flavors were recovered which will be used in court as evidence.
“While shisha culture has been a staple for many social spots, it’s crucial to remember that compliance with existing laws and regulations is non-negotiable. This incident serves as a reminder for businesses to operate within legal boundaries and prioritize the safety and well-being of their patrons.
During the operation 16 shisha bongs, 106 cartons of assorted shisha flavors, and a charcoal burner were confiscated. Two individuals were arrested during the raid and are set to be arraigned in court, marking a significant crackdown on the illegal shisha trade in the country.” said NACADA
