A section of the Nairobi Expressway toll services have been temporarily halted due to the ongoing demonstration.
Mlolongo, Syokimau and SGR Toll Stations have been affected by the demonstrations as efforts are underway to restore normalcy.
“We regret to inform you that a section of the Nairobi Expressway toll services have been temporarily halted at Mlolongo, Syokimau and SGR Toll Stations due to the ongoing demonstrations. Efforts are underway to restore normalcy to the road,” said Moja Expressway Company.

Motorists plying the Westlands-Mlolongo route have been advised to exit from JKIA and Mlolongo-Westlands bound motorists may safely join the road from JKIA Toll Station.
“For your safety, we urge all motorists plying the Westlands-Mlolongo route to exit from JKIA and Mlolongo-Westlands bound motorists may safely join the road from JKIA Toll Station,” said Moja Expressway Company
The news comes at a time when activities at the busy Mombasa road have been halted as demonstrators took to the roads lighting tyres in protest over the high cost of living.
