A Nakuru Court has ordered the arrest of Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii and the former Deputy Governor John Barorot over failure to appear before the court.
This is after the duo failed to testify in the Ksh 1 billion Finland education scholarship scandal that rocked the county.

Issuing the orders was Senior Principal Magistrate Peter Ndege who also summoned Mercy Tarus and Joel Koech who are the witnesses in the case.
EACC has also commenced investigations into the scandal where Ksh 1 billion is reported to have been embezzled by Uasin Gishu County Government officials.
