Namibia’s President Hage Geingob has been praised across the world for being transparent before and after he began his treatment.
It will noted that the President informed the whole country that he been dragonized with cancer, a disease he had been battling before meeting his death on Sunday.
He was also among few African leaders who would seek treatment in their own country and only went to the US for a medical check-up before returning home to seek further treatment.

“He was a model in transparency. He shared his cancer diagnosis & brief treatment abroad was not paid for by taxpayers. He was mostly treated at home, the public always updated
I met President Geingob last September in New York. We were backstage at an event with President Mokgweetsi Masisi of Botswana.
We chatted for an hour with their respective DC ambassadors. I felt like I was speed reading a book about life, liberation and leadership. May he RIP.” said Larry Madowo.
On Sunday, the late President Geingob has been praised for his style of leadership with many Africans calling on other leader to emulate his style as it will not only bring trust to the public but also save taxpayers millions from going to waste.
Many Presidents in Africa have been notorious for seeking medical treatment abroad begging the question why don’t they upgrade the facilities when they can.
