Drama ensued at the Nandi County Assembly after residents stormed demanding the impeachment of Governor Stephen Sang.
The angry residents accused the Governor of employing ghost workers, underperforming and failure to deliver developments in the county.
Members of the County Assembly are reported to have fled the scene after they learned that the angry residents were marching towards them.

The residents however managed to storm the building demanding an audience with the Speaker who was reportedly unavailable at the time. The news angered them even more terming it a lie.
During the day, MCAs inside the Assembly were locked in a heated altercations before they were separated by security personnel.
Recently, the Governor made headlines when he confirmed the dismissal of 1,500 ghost workers who are reported to have been fired by word of mouth.
Senator  Samson Cherargei condemned the dismissal and even threatened to take legal action against the County Assembly.
