Kiharu Member of Pariament Ndindi Nyoro is among allies of former Deputy President who are set to be removed for Parliament committees.
The changes which are set to be effected this week, will see those in the minority to benefit from five positions reserved for the majority in what looks like an attempt by Kenya Kwanza to silence Azimio.
- Senator Karungo wa Thang’wa expelled from Roads & Transport Committee
- MPs accused President Ruto of sidelining some regions in gov’t appointments
Ndndi Nyoro who is under Budget and Appropriations Committee is among leaders who failed to praise the ongoing plans and motions by the government in parliament.
The Kiharu MP has for the longest time gone underground and stayed far away from politics is among the few MPs who did not vote during the impeachment of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
“There are still more negotiations between Kenya Kwanza and Azimio…Liaison committee will take charge of the Budget Policy Statement until a new budget committee is formed.” said Wetangula.
“If you no longer support government policy out there, surely, won’t I be stupid to expect that when I give you a chance to chair those committees you will not do the opposite?” said Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot
