Authorities have questioned both Nicolò Zaniolo and Sandro Tonali over their alleged involvement in illegal betting.
It has been revealed that both Aston Villa and Newcastle players have left Italy training camp after questioning.

“Nicolò Zaniolo and Sandro Tonali have been questioned by authorities. This happens after being accused about possible involvement in illegal betting. Aston Villa and Newcaste players have both left Italy training camp after speaking to the police.” said Fabrizio Romano
The news has revealed details into the effects of betting among players who have been under scrutiny given the day’s results in relation to the bets placed.
Back in May, Ivan Toney of Brentford received an 18 month ban for violating the Football Association betting rules.
