Several people are feared dead on Sunday after Kensilver bus was involved in a grisly accident at Nithi bridge along the Meru-Embu highway.
At the time of the accident, the bus was heading to Nairobi when its brakes failed before it overturned as scene from the pictures.
This is not the first accident along the bridge which has now become a blackspot given its three kilometer stretch connecting the two counties.
As at the time of the accident, seven people were confirmed to have died with the exact number yet to be confirmed by the police who visited the scene shortly after it had occurred.
Those injured have been rushed to various hospitals for treatment as confirmed by eye witnesses who saw the whole accident happening.
Motorists plying the route have been advised to use alternative routes so as to prevent inconveniences.
