No clarity on national dialogue as Raila Odinga backs out

After bowing to pressure from the youth to dissolve his cabinet, President William Ruto called for dialogue starting Monday, talks which now remain on hold.

This is after the joint meeting held with the opposition saw Raila Odinga make a u-turn over the talks causing confusion as to how thing will be done moving forward.

Speaking on Sunday from Nyandarua, President William Ruto remained positive that he will select a people driven Cabinet which will assist him in running the affairs of the country.

“Pray for me that I get employees who will help me to actualize the promises I gave you. You want me to build a new government that will unite the entire nation?

I will plan slowly I see who will help me. Hasn’t it been said that some of them were from Nyeri, others from Kiambu, Murang’a? Is there any problem if one of them comes from Eldoret?” he said amid cheers from the congregants.

On the other hand, ODM party leader who was with the President when they called for the national dialogue has since declined to the talks amid complaints from Kenyans as to where he stands on the current issue.
