ODM and Turkana South MP Mr. John Ariko has been arrested by DCI detectives in Eldoret as confirmed by the party itself.
Taking on social media, the ODM party confirmed that he is locked at Central Police Station in Eldoret town as they demand an explanation from police IG.

“DCI Kenya officers in Eldoret have this evening arrested Turkana South MP Mr. John Ariko, our National Vice Chairman without any explanation. He is locked up at the Central Police Station in Eldoret town. We demand an explanation from the IG of police on this incident.” says ODM
The news has been received with mixed reaction by Kenyans who begged to understand how could it happen when the party is part of the government in the broad based government setup.
It has also raised concerns over the safety of Kenyans if those close to the President are reporting such incidents at a time when influencers have been abducted without any information on their whereabouts.
