One person is feared dead as four others sustained injuries when a lorry and a trailed collided head-on along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
Eye witnesses suspect the heavy rains in Twin area of Kuresoi south could have caused the lorry driver to lose control before crossing the opposite side of the road on the hill.
The area which has since been labeled as a blackspot by residents saw the lorry hit the trailer causing the death and injuries.

“I was one of the people who witnessed the accident, and I managed to help some people, several of whom had sustained injuries and fractures,” one of the witnesses told Inooro FM
“We don’t know what needs to be done here because accidents here have been on the rise, we appeal to drivers drive slowly when descending this hill.” said the witness
Those injured were taken to Molo Subcounty hospital and Nakuru Level V hospital as the dead was moved to Molo Subcounty hospital mortuary.
