La Liga side Osasuna has lodged a formal complaint against Barcelona following their recent improper line up in their recent clash.
According to Osasuna, defender Iñigo Martínez was ineligible to play in their 3-0 loss against the La Liga giants as FIFA regulations prohibits a player withdrawn from national duties for medical reason should remain sidelined for five days.

The appeal has however been criticized by a section of sports fans calling it petty by it a true test for FIFA to see if they will rule against Barcelona or not.
“The club understands Iñigo Martínez’s participation in the match violates FIFA regulations” said Osasuna
The news comes at a time when Barcelona confirmed that Dani Olmo will be out for around three weeks after he suffered a right adductor injury.
“Tests conducted this morning have confirmed that first-team player Dani Olmo has a right adductor injury. He is expected to be out for around three weeks.” they said
