Paul Pogba tests positive for testosterone

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has tested positive for testosterone, a banned substance as confirmed by multiple sources in Italy.

Pogba who was absent during Juventus 3-0 win against Udinese on August 20th was randomly called for testing despite being on the bench on that clash.

According to the results, the former Manchester United star had high levels of testosterone and a second test will be conducted on the France international before the matter is taken up by the National Anti-Doping Tribunal.

Paul Pogba rejoined Juventus in July 2022 after his contract at Manchester United expired. His return was however hindered with injuries and the Frenchman has been struggling with form since then.

If found guilty of using banned substance, Pogba could face up to two years away from football.
