Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has broken his silence over a controversial referee decision that denied them a clear goal scoring opportunity.
Speaking after the clash, Guardiola noted that it is hard to understand why the referee waved play on but the referee blew the whistle shortly afterwards.
“It’s hard when you review the image, the referee decides to blow the whistle after he’s already said play on. After the pass, the whistle, I do not understand.” said Guardiola
