Detectives have launched investigations into the gruesome murder of 19-year-old Sharon Atieno whose mutilated body was found at a banana plantation in Kiambaa.
Sharon who is also well known as Nicole was killed a few hours after she left her home to pick a call and taking a stroll on Thirsday at 10 pm leaving behind her friend.
Speaking after the Friday incident was his friend Shallet Vudembu who noted that she tried reaching out to her to no avail only for her badly mutilated body to be discovered the following day.

The owner of the farm where her body was discovered Fredrick Njiraini Kimani recounted how she found her.
“Kuja kuangalia, nikakuja nikatazama msichana nikapata hakuna mahali anahema, nikapata ashauliwa,” said Kimani
Detectives have now launched forensic investigations to know who she was last speaking to and any mobile money transactions made at the time.
“We are analyzing forensically the phone and other essential investigation leads, and at the moment, the matter is under investigation,” said Kiambaa OCPD Pius Mwathi
