The Vatican has confirmed that Pope Francis rested well on Monday and even though his condition is critical, he showed slight imprvement.

The statement continued by confirming that no new episodes of asthma-like respiratory distress occurred and that his mild-kidney insufficiency has not raised any concerns.
“No episodes of asthma-like respiratory distress occurred today, and some laboratory tests have shown improvement. The monitoring of his mild kidney insufficiency has not raised any concerns. Oxygen therapy continues, although with slightly reduced flow and oxygen levels.
