Postmortem results released on Tuesday have revealed that the late Rita Tinina succumbed to severe pneumonia.
The procedure conducted by government pathologist Peter Ndegwa was also confirmed by the family pathologist Dr. Michaka as revealed by Timothy Njaga, the family spokesperson.
The family confirmed being in agreement with the results as plans of her burial are in top gear.

The news comes barely a day after the NTV journalist was found unconscious at her house in Kileleshwa, Nairobi.
After failing to show up on duty on Sunday, her employer sought to know her whereabout only for the housekeeper to find her unresponsive in her bedroom.
The family was quickly informed as they called the police who combed the scene before taking her body to Umash funeral home.
