President William Ruto has mourned the passing of Anne Nanyama, the mother to Speaker Moses Wetangula and MP Timothy Wanyonyi.
Taking on social media, the Head of State termed Mama Nanyama as a progressive, responsible and caring woman who raised her children upright.

He continued by sending his message of comfort to the family, friends and people of Bungoma for the loss.
“Our condolences to Speaker Moses Wetang’ula and Mheshimiwa Timothy Wanyonyi for the loss of your dear mother.
Anne Nanyama was a progressive, responsible and caring woman who raised upright children. May God grant comfort to the family, friends and the people of Bungoma at this sad time.
