President Trump once again threatens Canada in trade war

U.S President Donald Trump has once again threatened Canada in the trade saying that it should become the cherished 51st state.

He was speaking after imposing a 25% tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico due to the large number of aliens in the country. The two countries responded with retaliatory attacks to the U.S.

Speaking on Sunday, Trump questioned why they spend hundreds of billions of dollars to subsidize Canada saying that they don’t need anything that they have.

“We pay hundreds of Billions of Dollars to SUBSIDIZE Canada. Why? There is no reason. We don’t need anything they have. We have unlimited Energy, should make our own Cars, and have more Lumber than we can ever use.” he said

According to Trump, if the subsidies end then Canada ceases to exist as a country. “”Therefore, Canada should become our Cherished 51st State. Much lower taxes, and far better military protection for the people of Canada – AND NO TARIFFS!” he said

In the case of China, the U.S imposed an additional 10% tariff on imports due to influx of opioid fentanyl which are allegedly manufactured in China.
