President William Ruto has on Tuesday chaired his first cabinet meeting in Kakamega during his five day visit of Western.
The event held at Kakamega State Lodge was also attended by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.
On Tuesday morning, Trade CS Moses Kuria shared a video of himself on board a motorcycle heading to the event as early as 6:20 am.

“Time stamp 6:20 AM. On my way for the cabinet meeting in Kakamega County. Mapema ndio Best,” said Kuria
The video was in response one of the cabinet meeting where some CS’s are reported to have been blocked for entering State House over lateness. His name was among those rumored to have been blocked during the performance signing ceremony.
President Ruto is expected to visit Emuhaya Hospital and hold a ground-breaking ceremony of affordable housing in Vihiga County.
A CT Scan Centre at Vihiga County Referral Hospital will also be commissioned by the Head of State and later inspect the Gisambai-Hamisi-Shamakhokho road.
