President William Ruto has a very short memory, says Gachagua

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has launched another onslaught against President William Ruto accusing him of having a short memory.

Speaking on Monday, the former DP accused the President of putting a side the plan they had before becoming the President through the bottom-up economic agenda.

He continued by saying that once the President entered State House he removed whatever little was in people’s pockets instead of empowering them.

“President William Ruto has a very short memory. This team here we sat with him in my house and we assured him that he would be President and we will do whatever it takes to make sure he is President. We took him to State House and when he reached there, he put aside everything we had agreed on how we need Kenya to be. We had agreed on the bottom-up economic model of putting money into people’s pockets.

The minute he reached State House he changed course, got a small team of economic advisors and came up with a very brutal program of removing whatever little money was in people’s pockets from their pockets.” said Gachagua

According to Gachagua, the Head of State is cornered because he has lost 47% of his previous votes and now leans on Raila’s support if he clinches the AU seat.

The former DP noted that most of the votes from Raila were Kalonzo’s and that Luhya and Kisii votes are gone.

“Why he is annoyed is because 47% of his support ziko nje. Anategemea ati Raila akienda AU he can transfer zile zake. Zile za Raila zilikuweko za Wiper they are not there, ile ya Mulembe is not there, hii ya Kisii it is not there, huyu jamaa amekwama. He is cornered, kazi yetu ni rahisi sana, it is to stay together and unite our people.” he said
