President William Ruto has joined the music fraternity to mourn Coast based artist Ally B who passed away on Wednesday.
Taking on social media, the Head of State noted that the musician used his talent to foster unity and harmony in the society.
“I join the music fraternity in mourning the passing of Ally B, a musician who harnessed his talent to foster unity and harmony in our society.” said the President.
He continued by saying that his message of peace will forever remain in our hearts as he wished his family solace during this time.
“Ali Khamisi Mwanguli inscribed his message of peace deep within our hearts, and we will forever carry that meaningful tune. May God provide solace to his family, friends and devoted fans.” he said
The Bembea hitmaker passed away at the Coast General Hospital where he had been rushed after falling ill. Other songs under Ally B’s belt include Kadzo, Maria and Yelele
