President William Ruto has on Monday visited Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) tp access its facilities and customer service operations.
The Head of State noted that a customer focused airport is a national asset that encourages airlines to operate.
“An efficient, modern, comfortable, friendly and customer-focused airport is a national asset that encourages airlines to operate, visitors to return, investors to stay and traders to make money.

Visited the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to assess its facilities, operations and customer service after seeing off Indonesia President Jokowi who was on a State Visit,” said President William Ruto
During his meeting President Jokowi, President William Ruto expressed commitment to strengthen the country’s trade relationship with Indonesia especially on energy, mining and oil production and reining.
“It is Kenya’s ambition that it strengthens its cooperation with Indonesia to exploit their trade potential, especially in the edible oil industry whose export value to Kenya was worth $110 million in 2022.
We committed to seize our strengths and create the requisite environment to scale up our ties in textiles and apparel, energy, mining, oil production and refining sectors to grow our investment and trade whose value stood at more than $600 million last year,” he said
