President William Ruto has on Friday promised to end abductions in the country as he called on parents to raise their children accordingly.
Speaking from Homabay County, the Head of State noted that he will make sure the issue of abductions remains a thing of the past.
“We all want to walk together. I want to urge all parents that our children are a blessing from God, and you should take care of them and the government will do our part.

We will stop. So that Kenyan youth can live in peace and have discipline so that we build Kenya together.” he said
Speaking at the same venue was former Prime Minister Raila Odinga who called on the President to deal with the matter with haste and bring to book those behind the acts.
“The cases of young people being arrested carelessly, and being handcuffed and tortured should stop. Those behind this should be arrested,” he said.
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has threatened to reveal the names of those behind the abductions and the building they are using to conduct their operations.
