ODM party leader Raila Odinga has taken a hit at President William Ruto accusing him of frustrating Kenyans with taxes.
According to the former Prime Minister, President William Ruto should look for alternative avenues to generate revenue for the government for development purposes and not resort to taxes as the solution.

He said that Kenyans are already combating the high cost of living but the government is imposing taxes on them making life unbearable to many.
The former Prime Minister accused the Head of State of failing to reduce the high cost of living as he called on the revival of kazi za vijana and kazi mtaani as sources of employment for the youth in the country.
Raila was speaking in Homa Bay where he launched a registration drive for ODM members as the country gears for a political battle of supremacy ahead of the 2027 general elections.
