Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has called out President William Ruto for meddling in Azimio la Umoja coalition issues.
Speaking during the 80th birthday celebration of Siaya Senator Oburu Odinga, Hon. Raila Odinga noted that the Head of State is planning to divide the coalition after he pointed out that he will battle it out with Kalonzo Musyoka come 2027.
He continued by saying that the party will make the announcement at the right time as who will be there flag bearer.

“He is speaking about Kalonzo Musyoka as if they are equals, he is far better than him. He wants to divide us with talk about who will run for the presidency, yet we ourselves have not announced anything. We will show him he knows nothing; we will stand with Kalonzo because he is an honest person,” said Raila
Speaking at the same venue the Wiper Party leader called on the President to stop talking about the 2027 elections but instead address the contentious issues on the 2022 general elections.
He continued by saying that whichever candidate will face Ruto will have a walkover as Kenyans are already fed up with him.
“Whoever will stand for the presidency in the next elections will have a walkover, a walk in the park. Kenyans are fed up because this is not a government they can trust,” he said
