Chelsea right back Reece James has been charged by FA over alleged use of abusive words towards a match official.
The incident which allegedly happened on Sunday, September 24th saw the England international utter the abusive words to a match official in the tunnel after their clash against Aston Villa.
FA has however provided Reece James up to Friday 29th September to issue his response in regard to the charges.

“Reece James has been charged with a breach of FA Rule E3 following Chelsea’s Premier League game against Aston Villa on Sunday, 24 September. It’s alleged that the defender used improper and/or insulting and/or abusive words and/or behaviour towards a match official in the tunnel after the game.
Reece James has until Friday, 29 September to provide a response to this charge.” read the statement.
In there Sunday fixture, Chelsea went down a goal to nil extending their poor premier league start that has condemned them to 14th position with five points from six matches played.
