Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has denied reports that the club’s striker Gabriel Jesus is heading to Brazil and will depart in January.
Through a statement, Arteta termed the reports nonsense and that the striker is undergoing phases and moments which they are going to support.
“Reports of Gabriel Jesus leaving and going to Brazil in January are nonsense,” He said
“Like all strikers they go through phases and moments. His attitude has been really good. It always is. We’re going to support him as much as possible,” he said
The news follows the Brazilian’s absence from action after sustaining an injury with his impact ever since not meeting the expectation of many fans.
At the same time, Arteta confirmed that Tierney was fit and could get minutes at the club as he is part of the plans under his leadership.
