TikToker Maria Wangari Kamunge better known as Rish Kamunge will remain in custody following her arrest on alleged oversees job scam.
Her detention follows an application done by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) seeking to detain her for seven day as they conclude their investigation into the scam.

Kamunge through Trustpin Verified Agent Ltd is accused of receiving between Ksh 200,000 and Ksh 300,000 from each person with the promise of securing them jobs oversees.
She was however accused of going silent after receiving the cash as alleged by those demanding justice after spending their hard earned cash with the promise of a better future.
Addressing the media, the aggrieved parties accused the Tik Toker of swindling them their heard earned cash as they promised to fight for justice even though they accused the police of demanding cash to facilitate their claims.
Kamunge was arrested on Wednesday 26th March 2025 by members of the public who stormed her house before turning her in to the police.
