Safina party leader Jimi Wanjigi has called out the President and those close to him for causing fear among Kenyans saying they will not remain in power forever.
“Ruto and his inner circle think they scare us! Suddenly you’ve become gods declaring how you shall remain in power no matter what the people’s will! You got to power with the ballot and intend to stay there using the bullet, we see you!” he said

The news follows utterances by those close to the President urging him to act accordingly to those disrespecting him on social media.
They have also also been advocating for an increase in the Presidential term limit saying that the two terms stipulated in the constitution is too small.
