President William Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga have held talks with President Yoweri Museveni in Uganda.
The three leaders discussed critical issues affecting the two countries such as energy and petroleum.

“Had the pleasure of meeting President Kaguta Museveni at his Kisozi country home in Uganda. We discussed critical issues that affect our two countries such as energy and petroleum.” said President William Ruto
The two countries pride themselves for their deep and long diplomatic relationship that has also brought other East African countries closer. Also discussed was former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s bid for the African Union Commission chairmanship bid.
“Kenya and Uganda are committed to the deepening of the long-established diplomatic and economic ties between our two countries. This relationship includes bringing all the seven East African Community nations closer in their ultimate goal to form the East African Political Federation.
Also discussed was the declared candidacy of Kenya’s former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for the Africa Union Commission chairmanship.” said President Ruto
