President William Ruto has on Sunday hit back at his critics who question his church donations saying that they are ‘people who don’t believe in God.’
The Head of State was speaking on Sunday from Eldoret where he vowed to ‘supporting God’s work’ as he donated another Ksh 20 million.

“The devil is very proud… There is a lot of controversy in this country about giving in churches, building sanctuaries and the place of God in Kenya,” he said
“As the President of this Republic, by God’s grace, I want to say this: the Bible, in Daniel 11:32, tells us those who know their God will be strong and do great exploits. God will be known in this country, and this nation will do great exploits.” he continued
President William Ruto was speaking days after pledging Ksh 20 million and an additional Ksh 100 million to support an upcoming project at Jesus Winner Ministry church in Nairobi causing an uproar among many Kenyans.
The news comes hours after youths gathered outside Jesus Winner Ministry church in Nairobi in protest of the President’s pledge as police lobbied teargas to disperse them.
The demonstration organized online was catalyzed by the hard economic times Kenyans are facing in addition to the troubled SHA system.
