Samsung Electronics co-Chief Executive Officer Han Jong-Hee, the man at the helm of the largest gadgets and mobile devices has passed away at the age of 63 years.
Han is reported to have died on Tuesday after suffering a cardiac arrest as revealed by a spokesperson of the company. Immediately after the news, Samsung shares in Seoul dipped before rising again.

The co-CEO began his journey in the display division before getting his appointment three years ago where he led Samsung into the biggest growth overtaking rivals Sony Group Corp.
He also saw the growth of home appliances creating a competitive edge with Apple In. and was already overseeing the installation of AI technology in most of its devices including fridges, washing machines and vacuum cleaners.
His recent address to investors, Han Jong-Hee told investors how the year 2025 will be a difficult one for the industry and that they will consider mergers and acquisitions in order to address growth concerns.
