A school bus ferrying students has been involved in a road accident near Kikima Market, Mbooni Sub County, Makueni County.
According to Kenya Red Cross, a total of 11pupils sustained injuries and were rushed to Mbooni Level 4 Hospital for treatment but no fatalities have been reported.
“A school bus carrying children has been involved in a road accident near Kikima Market, Mbooni Sub County, Makueni. Children trapped in the overturned bus are being rescued by response teams led by the county government.
11 children sustained injuries and have been taken to Mbooni Level 4 Hospital. No fatalities have been reported.” said Kenya Red Cross
