A video dated 2016 has resurfaced showing rapper, producer and business mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs assaulting then girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
In the now settled federal lawsuit filled in November by Ventura occurred at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles as revealed and verified by CNN given its location thanks to the photos shared.
In the video, Cassie could be seen living the hotel heading towards the lift area before Diddy dashed out of the hotel in towel before pulling Cassie down and assaulting her on the floor.
He then grabs Ventura’s bags and starts heading towards the room before making a return after spotting her making a call. An agitated Diddy could be seen throwing an object towards her.
Even though the incident has been settled, Cassie has declined to comment on the video even though her Attorney Douglas H. Wigdor welcomed the video.
“The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.” he said
Ventura accused Diddy of assault among other wrong doings which include performance of various sexual acts involving other men. At the time of their relationship, Ventura was 19 and Diddy was 37 years of age.
