Education Ministry through PS Belio Kipsang has confirmed that form one placement will happen before Christmas.
“I am sure we shall place our children in the secondary schools before we break for Christmas. I give that commitment that we shall do it,” said the PS
The PS was speaking on Wednesday from Westlands where he noted that examination marking of KCPE and KPSEA papers will begin immediately and all students will have joined secondary schools before the end of January.

He continued by saying that the early issuance of results will enable parents to plan early enough to prepare their children for secondary education. Kipsang also promised examination markers that their pay will made on time.
“We want to assure our examiners that this year, we shall be able to put out all payments that are due to them in good time,” he said
The issue of insecurity was not left behind as the PS noted that KCSE examinations will continue as planned to avoid disruption in volatile areas.
“The PS for Interior has given as that assurance that all is well. The Ministry of Interior and the Defence team are working to ensure our children are not disrupted as we go into secondary school exams next week,” said PS Belio Kipsang
