Senator Gloria Orwoba has on Thursday been suspended from Senate by the Senate Powers and Privileges committee until February 2024.
This is after the committee found the Senator guilty of two charges including gross misconduct leading to her suspension.
According to the committee, Senator Gloria Orwoba wrote unsubstantial allegations of sexual favours in parliament as posted in the Senate Business WhatsApp Group on different dates.
