Services at Mlolongo, Syokimau and SGR toll stations have on Sunday resumed following days of repair after last week protest.
“Please note that the Nairobi Expressway has now resumed operations at the Mlolongo, Syokimau, and SGR Toll Stations and we are ready to serve you.” said Moja Expressway Company.
Motorists using the Nairobi Expressway have been urged to be mindful of the ongoing restoration works at selected locations and drive within the prescribed speed limit of 80km/h.

On Wednesday last week, anti-government protest saw a section of the road vandalized and fences uprooted disrupting traffic flow in the area.
Speaking after the incident, Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen noted that the damages caused stand at Ksh 706 million and those who vandalized were looking at materials that they could sell.
“There are 3 railway stations that were damaged during yesterday’s demos. We witnessed pre-planned attacks on key infrastructure. They came with equipment to cut copper wires. They targeted materials that they could sell,” said Murkomen
