Several people are feared dead after a vehicle drove into a crowd in Bourbon Street, New Orleans as confirmed by BBC.
Addressing local media was New Orleans police spokesman who said that the vehicle indeed drove into the crowd, several people injured and fatalities have also been reported.
“initial reports show a car may have ploughed into a group of people. Injuries are unknown but there are reported fatalities.” said the spokesman
A witness also confirmed that after the vehicle ploughed into the crows, the driver came off holding a weapon and started shooting prompting the police to fire back. Police are yet to confirm the news.
