Parts of Mombasa experienced tremors on Tuesday after an oil ship docked in Likoni and undergoing repair exploded.
Several building trembled after the incident as some residents recorded the incident before sharing it on social media.

The ship identified as East Wind II was partly damaged by the explosion as those at the scene were rushed to safety before rescue operations and the fire department contained both the fire at the ship and the scene.
Images and videos from the scene revealed a huge smoke coming from the ship as captured by residents. The incident is currently under investigations to reveal the cause of the explosion.
