“Peace is a priceless commodity, and it takes two to tango. That’s why we’re making this passionate appeal to both Governor Simba Arati and Chief Whip Sylvanus Osoro, that they should cease any altercations in order to give us an opportunity to delve into the Pros and Cons of issues that may be affecting the stability of the region,” said former Kisii Senator Prof. Sam Ongeri.

The news comes at a time when Governor Simba Arati said that he will not honour the summons accusing the Education CS for supporting Osoro and that he wants to score political points if he succeeds to unite them.

“The education cabinet secretary is believed to be behind these issues and so there is no way he can be a good arbiter. He just wants praise as the person who brought us together yet away from this, he is supporting Osoro to do these things,” he said

He continued by saying that reconciliation is possible if those who were injured got justice and those responsible are held into account.

“We can only talk about reconciliation if justice is served to those who were injured and everyone responsible for it is held to account. Osoro must be prosecuted.” he said
