Smriti Vidyarthi has announced her departure from Nation Media Group after sixteen and a half years of service at the media station.
Through a statement on her social media, the journalist noted that the Monday 9pm bulletin was his last one at the Aga Khan owned media station.

“Sixteen and a half years of service to the Nation Media Group Nation Media Grp and to the nation at large. Thank you for trusting me. For now, tune in tonight at 9pm for my last bulletin on NTV.” she said
During her stay at Nation Media Group, Smriti was well known for hosting NTV Wild Talk which highlighted wildlife conservation issues in the country not forgetting NTV Weekend Edition and NTV Tonight.
She now joins the string of notable journalist who have switched stations in recent weeks among them Eric Latiff who left Standard Media Group for Nation Media Group. Latiff will be joined by Janet Mbugua who will be making a return on media.
